HENRY HOLLAND AW 13/14 #LONDON FASHION WEEK

House of Holland harks back to the autumn of 1989, the end of the second summer of love and the acid house scene. A field filled with "like minded people" a pocket full of "treats" and they're all up at 9 to collect their state pension.

Hence the name of the collection "Nana Rave"!! Set upstairs in the old NCP Car park in Soho the House of Holland was geared up as one of the big shows of the day and did not fail to disappoint. With a fully carpeted runway which resembled a skateboarders ramp even before the show started invited guests were left guessing as to what to expect from Mr Holland.

The show ... first of all had the best soundtrack beating my now second choice of music at a show which was played at the Issa show. Off we go the show stats and we see 70s graphic interior prints, jewelled coloured palettes of tonal ruby, emerald and sapphire, pops of neon appear in shearling trims and floor length zips. Crystal embellishments of club night indulgence all collide in this 70s meets 90s nostalgic homage.

Fabrics include silk fil coupe, printed stretch and patent leather and marabou embellished. Grey marl which all come together to create a rich layers g of textures.

For me WE HAVE A COLLECTION!!!!!
