ANOTHER8 INTRODUCES AW14 COLLECTION

Following the huge success of their SS14 collection, (which generated a loyal following from British style icons such as Cara Delivigne and Ellie Goulding), the new and exciting British fashion label Another8, is proud to announce the launch of their equally tempting AW14 collection. The London label which only launched late last year and creates luxurious street wear for the style elite, has quickly established itself as THE go-to urban luxe label. Another8 recently launched its first stand alone pop-up shop in Boxpark, Shoreditch. The brand was then quickly snapped up by the net’s first name in fashion –ASOS, plus announced the opening of a concession in London’s flagship fashion store – Topshop Oxford Circus.

Led by a team of top London creatives, Another8 aims to bridge the gap between the familiar mass- produced high street and the often unattainable designer label. A fusion of street style and contemporary design, Another8’s collections are urban but directional including statement separates, premium leather, key accessories and playful unisex pieces.

Kick starting the AW14 season with a pop, the 1st story ‘Reckoner’ is preppy and fun themed where 50s silhouettes are anchored by a laid back 90s pop colour palette. Think ‘The Breakfast Club’ meets ‘Grease’. Silhouettes are inspired by Molly’s Slouchy 90s jersey pieces teamed with Sandy’s flippy full circle 50s skirts. Also heavily influenced by surrealist artwork from album covers, including its namesake ‘Reckoner’ (Radiohead’s 90s single) the hero print is dropped into these shapes, seamlessly merging the 2 retro eras to create something new and modern. ‘Fake Plastic Trees’ has an earthy pallet with natural fibres and soft tones juxtaposed with industrial leather finishes and heavy textured wools.

Smock dressing in casual checks, paired back with blue grey tencel shirts give that natural industrial feel. Oversized vintage sheepskins move this into true autumn winter cosy. The more minimal offering for autumn comes from ‘Unravel’, a predominantly monochrome story with hues of grey and dark gunmetal silver, it’s all about layering and contrast. Flock Printed Sheer geo designs sit back with solid tailoring PVLs. Hero pieces include fine knit maxi cardigans and luxurious oversized painter shirts. Seen as both smart directional daywear and easy evening dressing, this versatile range caters for a broad customer base.

Prices range from fashion basics (jersey) £25 – premium leather £290
